The goal of this work is the development of a cross-platform time tracking application designed for efficient management of individual and group activities. The application will be built with a Rust-based backend containing the core logic, simple CLI and a more feature-packed web app. Users will be able to log, categorize, and analyze time spent on activities, with the possibility to export data into supported formats. The application supports both individual activity and group activities, provides activity tracking options, and integrates with third-party services like Google Calendar, Notion or Discord. The app is primarily targeted at developers and students, therefore the system can be extended through plugins, enabling custom workflows and self-hosting configurations achieved via feature flags. Part of the work is also release, deployment and monitoring of the app by the student, but also provide a package for some linux distributions for self-host options.
