This bachelor thesis focuses on using drama techniques in foreign language teaching. It defines the field as practical living through a situation, so-called experience education. It also deals with the psychological and practical substantiation of using drama when teaching another subject, especially foreign languages. It lists the possibilities of drama education in the field of foreign language teaching and describes the basic useful techniques, which are easy to use in foreign language teaching. It presents the structure of a foreign language lesson plan using elements of drama education as well as putting these into projects of various lengths. It emphasizes not only the role of the teacher but also the shift of attention to the student and his/her experience. In the practical part, there is a complete drama project and two lesson plans; further projects and lesson plans are to be found in the Appendix and on the CD-ROM.
