The goal of the submitted thesis: “Role of International
Financial Institutions
in Globalization Process” is to analyze the development of
the mission and meeting the objectives of the international
financial institutions in the course of the globalization
process and assessment of their activities within a framework
of the world economy development.
The first part defines the concept of the globalization process
together with the factors which contribute to forming this
process and
its manifestations. The second and the third part focus on
the reasons for establishing the World Bank and International
Monetary Fund
together with the purpose of their existence, organization,
their lending
framework and source of their financial help. The forth part
shows the
development of the IMF and WB role in the globalization process
on the
background of three global problems and the fifth part outlines
the possibilities
of their future.
