This bachelor thesis focuses on the individual poetics of two writers – Alexander Grin and Konstantin Paustovsky, who are traditionally ranked among the representatives of romanticism in Russian literature of the 20th century. The aim of the thesis is to confront the distinctive features of their romantic poetics and to find common and different elements in their individual styles. To illustrate these characteristics an analysis of two key works by the authors was used – ´Scarlet Sails´ by Grin and ´The Golden Rose´ by Paustovsky.
