The goal of this thesis is to design and implement a centralised solution for monitoring and logging of Kubernetes system in CERIT-SC center. The student will familiarize themselves with Kubernetes environment in CERIT-SC center. The student will then research available monitoring and logging solutions (e.g. Loki, ElasticSearch, Prometheus, etc.) and pick appropriate combination which they will then implement. Implementation will be centralised, meaning that collected data from the whole Kubernetes infrastructure will be accessible from a single point. Another part of the solution will be design and implementation of alerting based on data collected from the infrastructure, this could for example use Zabbix system. The complete solution will be appropriately automated. Output of the thesis will include documentation text and a set of scripts to deploy the implemented solution.
