The thesis called ”Information needs of learning librarians in
the educational context” aims to define and map the information
needs arising in the creation and realization of educational
programmes in the public libraries for pupils from elementary
schools. Education has been influenced by changes in school
legislation manifested by including pupils with special
educational needs into common classes. In its theoretical part
the thesis focuses on areas characterising the topic of
inclusion, an information need of teaching professionals and
education in libraries. The research part presents a
methodological basis of work and describes the research design.
In the final part, analytical results of the interviews are
elaborated.
