Diploma thesis "Regional Development Agencies vs. regional
offices and their activities in tourism," deals with the
analysis of data collected by the regional offices and regional
development agencies. In the first part of the work that is
theoretical, tourism policy is defined as part of economic
policy. There is also examined the question of the legitimacy
of public support for tourism policy. The second theoretical
chapter defines the management of regional development and the
status of regional offices and regional development actors in
the system. The third part is devoted to identifying the
activities of regional offices and regional development
agencies working in the field of tourism. These activities are
then compared.
