This bachelor work tries to stress the significance of composer personality of P. Gunter Jacob and rehabilitate his name and his place in history of the Czech musical culture, both of them have been still questioned. By tracing of his life and his following composing activity we can easily make the clear view about the status of the musician not only in religious circles but also in profane world. …more
