The aim of this bachelor thesis is to cover the topic of track
and field in the town of Kladno through a series of
journalistic interveiws. Those will be used as the main
technique and source of information. The final texts are made
to be published in the local newspapers Kladenský deník.
Firstly, the theory of genre and work methodology will be
presented in order to introduce proper working techniques for
the following journalistic work. Subsequently, the topic will
be anchored and commented on from different perspectives – for
example from the point of view of sports psychology or current
situation in the track and field club of Kladno. The chapter
about the target medium follows. This was created with the
support of the local editor-in-chief and sports editor.
Finally, the critical reflexion is presented, referring to all
the previous parts of the thesis.
