The thesis „Tension in the prose of Ladislav Klima" analyses the composition of the fiction
by Czech writter and philosopher Ladislav Klima (1878-1928). In the six chapters the author
explores the main aspects of the text structure: composition, text frame, character, space, time
and style. The summary describes in what way the tension is beeing created, where it comes
from (trivial literature, expresionism) and how it is related to the composition.
