Předkládaná práce se snaží o odhalení (estetické) hodnoty dokumentární fotografie. Jejím základem je interpretace studie ‚Fotografie a zobrazení‘ Rogera Scrutona, kterou podrobuje kritice vycházející z akademické diskuse o podstatě fotografie z posledních let. The core of this BA thesis is disclosure of the (aesthetic) value of documentary photography. This work build on interpretation of an essay ‘Photography and representation’ by Roger Scruton, which is strictly interrogate by principles of academic debate about a nature of photography of the last years.
