This bachelor thesis deals with head and neck tumors and their
possible side effects, osteoradionecrosis of the lower jaw. The
thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals
generally with head and neck tumors, their occurrence, basic
methods of treatment and prognosis. In the practical part there
is an analysis of the condition of the lower jaw before and
after radiotherapy of 11 patients who underwent radiotherapy in
the head and neck, how it changed after irradiation and its
risk of developing osteoradionecrosis.
