The aim of this work is to improve the possibilities of analysis and monitoring of application and system logs during the operation of large-scale information systems. The student will focus on ways of storing application and system logs from the Windows operating system. Then analyzes, designs, and implements a service for processing application and system logs, which will also enable suitable data analysis for other methods of evaluation. The solution will use Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana together with the Metricbeat tool for data collection. The student will verify and test the functionality of the created solution with regard to the security of the whole solution.
