Scene recording in a virtual environment can provide valuable information that the regular video recording lacks. The goal of this thesis was to develop a toolkit for 3D scene recording and reconstruction in the Unity game engine. - Analyze the existing solutions and design the visual representations and functionality of these recordings and trajectories based on the existing solutions. Focus on how to store the recorded objects and their data so they can later be replayed and visualized.
- Discuss why this design was chosen and compare it with other options.
- Implement the toolkit for Unity game engine. The recordings and trajectories should be easily serializable.
- Demonstrate how to use the toolkit in some existing Unity VR project (e.g. Edive).
