The aim of this study is to find out personal attitudes towards the question of death in older adulthood in context of living with own children in same household. Basic questions that were asked were such as if living of children with their parents has any impact on the question of death and if those who don’t live together with their children have stronger fear of death than those who still do. Work also focuses on difference between genders and further works with variables of religiousness, generativity, age, frequency of contact with children and subjective feeling of amount of contact with children. Realized research was based on sample of 173 participants aged from 45 to 60 and was conducted by the form of questionnaire. Examined attitude towards death was determined by „DAP-R“ method which quantified individual dimensions, those were „fear of death“, „death avoidance“, „neutral acceptance“, „approach acceptance“ and „escape acceptance“. Variable of religiousness was monitored by „ROS“ method and generativity was monitored by „LGS“ method. It has been shown that living with children has no demonstrable impact on fear of death. Significant effect on fear of death and evading of death was found in subjective feeling of amount of contact with children. Important influence over all hypothesis has been found in variable of generativity.
