The 800 m race requires a specific combination of speed, endurance and tactical decision-making. This bachelor thesis analyzes the training diary of an 800 m runner with a focus on the structure of the training process, its key components and the physiological demands of the discipline. The training data are examined to identify loading patterns, evaluate the balance of training means, and provide recommendations for performance optimization based on sport science literature.
