Study Material for Software Architectures
Anotace
Abstract
This thesis focuses on the design and development of C# seminar materials for the PV293 Software Architectures course at Masaryk University. Built around a single evolving e-commerce codebase, the series guides students from monolith analysis and domain modeling through Clean Architecture, modularization, microservice extraction, distributed deployment, observability, and Event Sourcing, with each …více
Zadání práce
The research component should examine contemporary software architecture methodologies and their relevance to modern system design, with the resulting insights shaping the structure and content of seminars.
The course should include twelve seminars to guide students from fundamental concepts to advanced architectural practices. The introductory seminars should focus on revising core concepts and preparing students for the course's practical components. The following sessions should introduce event storming methods for collaborative design and domain understanding. The concluding seminars should demonstrate the transformation of a monolith into a modulith, and subsequently into a microservice-based architecture, employing techniques such as messaging and vertical slicing.
Gather and analyze feedback from students and instructors to evaluate and enhance the educational value of the seminars.
