Abstract
Internalizace stigmatu ohledně vyšší tělesné hmotnosti je proces aplikování negativních postojů a stereotypů ohledně vyšší hmotnosti na sebe sama. Tato internalizace bývá pravidelně spojována se horším psychickým i fyzickým zdravím. Cílem této studie bylo posoudit vztahy mezi internalizací stigmatu a psychickým i fyzickým fungováním. Weight bias internalization is the process of applying negative weight-related attitudes and stereotypes to oneself. Weight bias internalization has been previously associated with depressive symptoms, anxiety, low self-esteem and eating disturbances.
