The subject of this bachelor´s thesis is the identification of
problems in the process of gaining financial resources from EU
Funds in the programming period 2007 – 2013 from the
perspective of selected municipalities. The first part is
focused on the European Union´s economic and social cohesion
policy, its principles, targets, instruments and defines a
concept of the programming funding. The following part deals
with the process of providing financial support for
municipality from the initial idea, through processing the
project to implementation and generally defines problems of
municipalities associated with this process. The last part
contains analysis of the economic significance of European
Union´s grants for selected municipalities Veselá, Neubuz,
Všemina and identifies particular problems.
