This thesis aims to create a user-friendly web application for hackathons, serving as an application portal. The application will enable prospective participants to register, submit applications, and form or join teams. Additionally, it will facilitate hackathon organizers in reviewing, evaluating, and inviting suitable participants.

The student will examine existing solutions, justify the need for the proposed application, and conduct a software analysis and design based on well-defined requirements. The application will be built using Next.js and Typescript. All modern web application development and deployment aspects will be described and implemented, including automated testing, performance monitoring, user tracking, continuous deployment, and GDPR compliance.
