The thesis Teaching English to Children with dyslexia in the
Czech Republic and the USA is divided into two parts –
theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on
explanation of the terms special learning disabilities and
dyslexia, and further concerns children with dyslexia, teaching
and learning English. The practical part deals with describing
the teaching methods and learning, and comparison of the school
in the Czech Republic and the USA. The aim of the bachelor
thesis is to confirm that children with dyslexia in the United
States are taught and learn English in a different way than the
children in the Czech Republic.
