This thesis deals with the construction of the image of Kiev riots in the period from 21 November 2013 until February 28, 2014 through the lens of the three most widely read Czech dailies - MF Dnes, Právo and Blesk. The aim is to find out how the media constructed the events that followed the rejection of Ukraine's signing Association agreements with the European Union. The work focuses on analyzing the development of the media agenda using the theory of media framing, news values and information sources. The research sample consists of a total of 299 articles that were published in the choosen period in MF Dnes, Pravo and Blesk.
