Bachelor’s thesis “Banking regulation in the EU” concerns
regulation and supervision of the banking sector. The main goal
is to describe and valuate regulations, which are the key
factor for the banking regulation in the European Union. First
part of the thesis analyses specific kinds of systems of
regulation, arguments in favor of regulation and their
foundation. Second part concerns concrete regulations, their
consequences and their suitability for the economy itself. The
anticipated development of the banking regulation is described
in the end.
