Práce z oblasti nových trendů v žurnalistice, konkrétně multimedializace a konvergence, si klade za cíl charakterizovat za pomoci kvalitativních výzkumných metod změny, které postihly práci žurnalistů poté, co došlo ke sloučení redakcí vydavatelství Economia do integrovaného newsroomu. Předmětem zkoumání je redakce Hospodářských novin a online portál iHNED.cz. Teoretická část vymezuje na základě odborné literatury žurnalistické rutiny, pojmy multimedializace a konvergence a proměnu organizace, kterou technologický vývoj a sloučení redakcí způsobil. Hlavním přínosem této práce je teoretické a empirické uchopení problematiky, která doposud nebyla zkoumána na vybraném výzkumném vzorku – redakci Hospodářských novin.

This Bachelor thesis deals with the new trends in the field of journalism, specifically the multimedialization and convergence with the target to characterize and describe the journalistic procedures and research methods after the merger of the redaction sections of the Economia publishing house into the integrated newsroom. The objects of the research are the redaction of the daily newspaper „Hospodářské noviny“ and online portal iHNED.cz. Based on the professional literature, the theoretical part of the thesis defines the routines, multimedialization terms of the convergence and transformation of the organization which the technological development and merger have caused. The main contribution of this thesis is the theoretical and empirical definition of the issue, which has not yet been investigated in a selected research sample – the redaction of the newspaper „Hospodářské noviny“.
