Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem přírody v poezii Roberta Burnse. Hlavním cílem práce je vysvětlit roli přírody v Burnsových básních a písních, poselství básní a funkci přírody z pohledu literárního prostředku. Zadání práce

This bachelor thesis deals with the theme of nature in poetry of Robert Burns. The main aim of the thesis is to explain the role of nature in the poems, the message and functioning of nature as a means of poems from the point of view of a literary figure of speech.

The introductory part focuses on a real picture of Scottish nature and history to provide an objective context in which the poems were written. The main part of the thesis deals with analysis of selected natural poems using methods of close reading and textual analysis. The aim of the analyses is to question the thematic and structural role of nature as a source of imaginary, inspiration and tribute to Scotland as well as to analyse varied aspects of topography in the poems and their role.
