Abstract

Tato práce se zaměřuje na vyobrazení rasy a genderu v Disneyho klasických animovaných filmech a jejich soudobých adaptacích. Analyzuje rasu a gender ve vybraných dílech a porovnává animovaný film s jeho hranou adaptací. Práce také zkoumá chování postavy princezny v souvislosti s genderem.

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the portrayal of race and gender in Disney’s classic cartoons and their recent adaptations. It analyzes race and gender in the selected films and compares the animated feature with its live-action adaptation. The thesis also examines the behavior of the princess character concerning gender.
