This diploma thesis deals with a relatively new concept of social responsibility, especially the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), i.e. the social responsibility of legal entities. This thesis is based on the theory of CSR which is in this thesis characterizes, contextualize it in the historical and current development and analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the concept of CSR in practice. The aim of this work is to analyse the institutes of private law, especially the vague legal terms such as due care, good morals and public order, and to subordinate the particular elements of CSR under these institutes of private law.
