The purpose of this thesis is to analyse and critically
evaluate the economy and membership satisfaction of the VSK
University Brno. The club is an organization from the
non-profit sector, and therefore, all the procedures are
carried out in order to meet the typical features of the
sector. The Research Questions, set at the beginning of the
practical part, are designed to investigate fundraising options
and quality of sporting experience. A thorough analysis of the
financial statements, interview with the chairman, and
membership satisfaction survey provided a basis for the
evaluation. As a result of this process, a draft of
recommendations in order to enhance the financial situation and
increase satisfaction level is proposed.
