This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of media and information literacy of seniors from the perspective of information search. We start from the assumption that seniors, as a vulnerable social group, need more attention and education in the face of threats related to today's world of new technologies. The paper, in the form of a review study, examines how seniors acquire information and what it all affects. The thesis is divided into three parts: a theoretical part, a review study, and a discussion of the results. In the review study, 20 studies were selected and analyzed. The analytical results are detailed and discussed in the final part.
