The dissertation focuses on deixis and deictic expressions in Old Church Slavonic in comparison with their counterparts in contemporary Czech, Russian, and Ukrainian. The thesis provides a description of deictic expressions in Old Church Slavonic and compares them with their equivalents in contemporary Slavonic languages under investigation.
