Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou několika básní od americké básnířky Anne Sextonové. Analýza je zaměřená především na motivy náboženství, psacího stroje, a také symboliku "zeleného pokoje", která se v jejích básních vyskytuje. Abstract

This thesis provides an analysis of multiple poems written by the American poet: Anne Sexton. The analysis focuses on the motifs of religion, the typewriter, and the symbolism of the “green room” in her poetry. The present work also explores the reasons and influences which bring these concepts more into Sexton’s work as her career progresses.
