DevOps skills are highly wanted in many companies. There are no DevOps-focused courses in the FI MUNI catalogue - design lecture materials for a DevOps-focused subject proposal. The curriculum should cover foundational cloud networking principles (including VLSM subnetting), infrastructure-as-code via Terraform, CI/CD pipeline fundamentals, Kubernetes orchestration (networking, storage, Kustomize), Helm charts, and Argo-CD for GitOps. Analyse existing commercial DevOps courses and their content to fill the gaps. The lecture should include theory, simple projects, and quizzes to prepare students for seminars. Apply principles of micro-learning when structuring the lecture so it can be split into multiple small video lectures. Survey opened DevOps positions and compare course material and gained skills with job descriptions.
