In recent years, the field of pronunciation has been widely researched. However, the area of pronunciation games that are aimed particularly at Czech learners of English has not yet received enough attention. The aim of the thesis is to create a collection of pronunciation games aimed at Czech EFL speakers based on further investigation of games and the methods of learning pronunciation. Simultaneously, it takes into consideration the Czech linguistic point of view and its influence on Czech students of English. The theoretical part addresses the issue of acquiring pronunciation skills and pointing out the typical pronunciation errors made by Czech EFL speakers. Furthermore, it focuses on the features of game and play and implementing games into English classes. The practical part is devoted to creating a handbook collecting pronunciation games for Czech learners of English.
