The goal of the submitted thesis: “Economic analysis of a
chosen company” is to evaluate the economic efficiency of the
company AŽD Praha s.r.o. by using appropriate methods of
economic analysis, and also to suggest some improvements. The
first part of the thesis deals with definitions of methods and
theoretical basis, the practical appliance of the particular
methods is the object of the second part of the thesis. To
evaluate the economic efficiency, the methods of financial and
strategic analysis are used. The final part of the thesis deals
with synthesis, evaluation of the economic efficiency and also
with suggestions of the improvements.
