Final thesis titled Sexual abuse from juristic and
criminological perspective points its contents to one specific
crime - sexual abuse. The thesis analyzes sexual abuse by two
different views. The first part is dealing with the juridical
aspect of a crime. Mainly focusing to the definition of sexual
abuse and its merits of a case, even it´s compared with the
legislation in Germany. The second part is a criminological
concept that refers to the role of victim and offender, both
these groups are there clearly characterized. Part of the
thesis is devoted to prevention, which aims to decrease the
possibility of abuse. Statistics of the Czech Police will not
be omitted, giving us the idea about frequency of sexual abuse
occurrence in Czech Republic. The conclusion of the thesis is
partly focused on the question of victim age.
