Abstract
The aim of the course is to expose the students to various types of authentic legal texts - both written and oral.

Topics for reading comprehension, assisted discussion and terminology 1. Introduction: programme of the course, literature, discussion on curriculum vitae 2. Job application - application discussion, letter of application 3. Commercial law - business person, agent, commercial undertaking 4. Company law - partnership, stock corporation 5. Criminal law - basic principles 6. Criminal law - elements of a criminal offence, consequences of a crime 7. Procedural law - particular type of court, jurisdiction 8. Procedural law - a court, legal proceedings, the system of courts in Germany 9. Procedural law - civil proceedings 10. Procedural law - criminal proceedings 11. Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements (in Czech)
Podmínkou získání zápočtu je aktivní práce v seminářích, 100% účast, soustavná a průběžná příprava. Seminář je ukončen zápočtovým testem. Bude testována slovní zásoba, gramatika a věcná znalost.
