- Anotace
- This course provides a comprehensive view of exercise physiology and physical activity prescription in the practice of physiotherapy. It focuses on the prescription of physical activity concerning lifestyle risk factors in the context of preventing non-communicable diseases. A fundamental part of the course is an introduction to public health issues and health education in relation to physiotherapy and physical activity.

- Upon completing this course, students will be able to:
- conduct theoretical discussions in public health, exercise physiology, and physical activity prescription;
- design physical activity programs at all stages of prevention and rehabilitation within community-based exercise programs;
- implement and evaluate the effectiveness of physical activity interventions in prevention and rehabilitation;
- apply acquired knowledge and skills in basic and applied research in the field of prevention and rehabilitation;
- develop fundamental designs and management strategies for physical activity interventions in prevention and rehabilitation. - Klíčová témata
