Abstract

Práce se zabývá původními kreslenými filmy studia Walt Disney Studios (Popelka, Šípková Růženka a Kráska a zvíře) a jejich hranými remaky, které vznikly v posledním desetiletí. Obě verze každého příběhu jsou v jednotlivých kapitolách srovnávány a nejvíce pozornosti je věnováno posílení pozice ženských postav v jednotlivých příbězích a změnám v archetypálních rolích mužů a žen. This thesis examines the original animated films produced by the Walt Disney Studios (Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast) and their remakes that were produced in the last decade. Thesis description
The purpose of this thesis is to examine and analyse the original animated films by the Walt Disney Studios (namely Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast) and their recent remakes (also made by the Walt Disney Studios). Using feminist approach the thesis examines the main female characters and the development in their empowerment in the remakes as well as the male characters and how their roles change.
