Diplomová práce
Software Reliability Growth Models for Open Source Software
Anotace
Dáta o chybách sú modelované deviatimi SRGMs - Goel-Okumoto, Goel-Okumoto S-Shaped, Hossain-Dahiya, Musa-Okumoto, Duane, Weibull, Yamada Exponential, Yamada Raleigh a Log …více
Abstract
The goal of the thesis is to analyze the usability of software reliability growth models (SRGMs) and their applicability on open-source software projects from Github. We selected eighty-eight popular projects based on a variety of criteria. The failure data are modeled by nine SRGMs – Goel-Okumoto, Goel-Okumoto S-Shaped, Hossain-Dahiya, Musa-Okumoto, Duane, Weibull, Yamada Exponential, Yamada Raleigh …více
Zadání práce
- review different types of SRGMs and input data processing methods for these models
- extend the STRAIT tool implementation with the new SRGM models and data manipulation methods. Data manipulation methods include techniques for input data processing and project data collection from Github repositories.
- select a large number of open source software project to include representative sample of projects based on different categories, such as size, age, number of developers, domain, etc...
- perform a SRGM analysis with multiple models on the selected projects using the STRAIT tool.
- discuss the results, namely detailed reasoning about (in)applicability of the models on different categories of projects.
