Software Reliability Growth Models for STRAIT
Anotace
poľahlivosť softvéru zohráva kľúčovú úlohu pri hodnotení kvality a stability softvérových systémov. Nástroj Software Reliability Analysis Tool (STRAIT) poskytuje rámec na hodnotenie softvérovej spoľahlivosti na základe modelov rastu spoľahlivosti softvéru (SRGM). Táto diplomová práca nadväzuje na predchádzajúcu verziu STRAIT a rozširuje ju o integráciu pokročilejších SRGM modelov, vrátane Pham-Nordmann …více
Abstract
Software reliability plays a critical role in assessing the quality and stability of software systems. The Software Reliability Analysis Tool (STRAIT) provides a framework for evaluating software reliability based on Software Reliability Growth Models (SRGMs). Building on a previously developed version of STRAIT, this thesis extends the tool by integrating more advanced SRGMs, including the Pham-Nordmann …více
Zadání práce
- Review the state-of-the-art of Software Reliability Analysis in relation to Software Reliability Growth Models.
- Refactor the STRAIT tool to consolidate the consistency of the solution and allow for an easier integration of new models. Add containerization support using Docker to ease the deployment.
- Implement additional metrics for the predictive capability of the models in STRAIT, so that they can be used in the analysis.
- The primary baseline SRGM models are already available in STRAIT. The goal would be to implement the additional models (PNZ, PZ, Wang, Li).
- Implement the proposed newer model from J. Wang (2021) which was focused on the open source software development processes.
- Run a comparison of the models in terms of both fitting and predictive capabilities. Projects can be mined from Github repositories.
