Master's thesis
Postglacial environmental evolution reconstructed from abiotic proxies of the Prášilské Lake sediments, Šumava Mts.
Postglaciální vývoj přírodního prostředí rekonstruovaný z abiotických proxy jezerních sedimentů Prášilského jezera na Šumavě
Abstract
Transekt napříč jezerem, zahrnující litorální i centrální část, vytvořený ze tří sedimentárních profilů umožnil rekonstruovat vznik a vývoj Prášilského jezera, zaplňování jezerní pánve a rostoucí hladinu. Zachyceno je krátké období velmi mělkého jezera, ovšem rychle stoupající hladina způsobila, že již v polovině spodního holocénu mělo Prášilské jezero hloubku 10 m. Záznam pokrývající téměř celý holocén …more
Abstract
The reconstruction of the formation and evolution of the Prášilské Lake in the sense of rising the lake level and filling the lake basin was possible thanks to three sedimentary cores from different depths of the lake forming a transect from the littoral part to the centre of the lake basin. A short period of a very shallow lake is captured. However, the level increased relatively quickly and in the …more
