The assignment of this thesis was created in close cooperation with the Department of Human Movement Studies of the University of Ostrava, which is the solution provider of the 4HAIE project (https://www.4haie.cz/haie/). The goal of the work is to propose appropriate management and manipulation of complex and heterogeneous data sets that were recorded within the project over a long period of time (approximately 2 years) and come mainly from sportsmen. Data was collected using a FitBit smartwatch. The work consists of the initial analysis of the available data, the selection of suitable technologies, and the actual design and implementation of the database layer of the application for managing this data. The student will also design a suitable API for the communication of the front-end part (this forms the content of another diploma thesis) with the database. The backend solution will also include the implementation of an API layer for performing various statistical analyses on the data. An integral part of the solution will be the analysis of application security and the selection and implementation of suitable security protocols.
