Abstract
The course focuses on mastering basic practical climbing skills on the artificial climbing wall.The theoretical knowledge of sports climbing is also acquired.
Key topics
The aims of the course are to introduce the climbing enviroment, basic climbing terms and orders, how to use the climbing material, to develope trust, self-confidence, self-assuredness. The basic climbing techniques as well as practical skills and theoretical knowledge of bouldering are introduced.

Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements (in Czech)
Cvičení, zápočet za docházku. Povolené absence: 1x možná absence bez omluvy 2x omluvená absence (příslušná potvrzení), 3x absence nahrazená výukou ve zkouškovém období. Podmínkou udělení zápočtu je 75% účast ve výuce. Tutorial assessed with a credit The credit is given to students for the attendance of a certain quality: 50% of the direct attendance is required - 1 possible absence without apology - 2 more possible absences with the list of apology - 3 more lessons can be compensated during the examination time
