Předmětem této magisterské diplomové práce je srovnání tří překladů Baden-Powellovy knihy Scouting for Boys do češtiny. Jedná se o adaptaci A. B. Svojsíka Základy junáctví, samizdatový Skauting pro chlapce Karla Průchy a Jaromíra Porta a těsný překlad Jiřího Navrátila s názvem Skauting pro chlapce. This master’s thesis compares three Czech translations of Baden-Powell’s Scouting for Boys: the adaptation Základy junáctví by A. B. Svojsík, the samizdat-published Skauting pro chlapce by Karel Průcha and Jaromír Port, and the close translation Skauting pro chlapce by Jiří Navrátil. Thesis description
The aim of this thesis is to analyze and compare three Czech translations of Scouting for Boys by Robert Baden-Powell: the 1912 adaptation Základy junáctví by Antonín Benjamín Svojsík, Skauting pro chlapce by Karel Průcha and Jaromír Port published by samizdat in 1988, and the 2007 close translation Skauting pro chlapce by Jiří Navrátil.
