V této bakalářské práci se zabývám překladem knihy,,Jak přicházejí sny“, kterou napsal Richard Matheson. Kniha obsahuje mnoho pasáží s popisem prostředí, myšlenek, a taky pocitů, které nejprve srovnám v originálním textu s textem přeloženým do českého jazyka Lucií Mikoláškovou. In this bachelor thesis, I focus on the translation of the book by Richard Matheson (What Dreams May Come). The book contains a lot of passages dealing with description of places, thoughts and feelings and initially I compare them in the original text to Czech translation by Lucie Mikolášková (Jak přicházejí sny) and thereafter I translated the original text into my own words. In my bachelor thesis I am going to focus on translation of the book written by Richard Matheson (What Dreams May Come). The main character of the book is Chris who has to discover the truth about afterlife. The book contains a lot of passages dealing with description of places, thoughts and feelings and initially I am going to compare them in original text to Czech translation by Lucie Mikolaskova (Jak přicházejí sny), after that I am going to translate the original text into my own words. The aim of the bachelor thesis is, at first, to focus on the text by Richard Matheson, compare it to the translation of Lucie Mikolaskova and finally compare both of mentioned parts to my own translation of selected passages. In the first part (practical part) of thesis, I am going to work with original text and two translations. In the theoretical part, I am going to analyse issues connected to the stylistic and lexical level of selected text.
