Virtual Environment for Exposure Therapy for Sound Sensitivity in Autism Spectrum Disorder
Abstract
Bakalářská práce analyzuje existující řešení, popisuje technologie …more

Thesis description
Design and implement a VR application for exposure therapy based on the Unity game engine. Use game design/gamification principles to motivate players to explore the virtual environment and expose themselves to sound sources. The main features of the application will be:
- Uses existing plugin for spatial sound, i.e. the sounds in VR will be generated with correct directionality and distance-based attenuation.
- Data logging for later analysis - the log will contain data such as the player's movement through a virtual environment, distances from individual sound sources, etc.
- Asymmetric UI (desktop version for a therapist and diegetic VR version for a patient).
