Táto práca navrhuje, implementuje a hodnotí ResearchIT, 2D vzdelávaciu hru, ktorá simuluje výskumný a publikačný proces a zároveň zdôrazňuje bežné etické „sivé zóny“ v akademickom prostredí. Hra stavia hráčov do úlohy začínajúceho výskumníka, ktorý vyberá granty, prideľuje prácu členom tímu, plní krátke tematické minihry, píše článok a prechádza simuláciou recenzného konania. Abstract
This thesis designs, implements, and evaluates ResearchIT, a 2D edu- cational game that simulates the research and publishing workflow while foregrounding common ethical “grey zones” in academia. Functional requirements specification (minimum):
- Selection of grants and generation of corresponding tasks/mini-games.
- Assignment of tasks to team members and their impact on results.
- At least 2 thematically different mini-games from the field of computer science with measurable scoring.
- System for writing "articles" with quality calculation and selection of publication venue.
- Model of unethical behavior with clear consequences for reputation and advancement.
- Logging of player actions.
Requirements for the textual part of the work:
- Create an overview of computer games with the theme of ethics and integrity.
- Set the educational goals that the game should achieve.
- Analyze the recorded actions of players with regard to the entertainment and educational goals of the game.
- Evaluate the achievement of the set educational goals.
- Compare your solution with existing alternatives.
