Abstract

Práce řeší problematiku významu abstraktních slov a jejich definic ve výkladových slovnících, běžně používaných při studiu cizího jazyka, které však ve skutečnosti ne ve všech případech správně či dostatečně reflektují současný stav jazyka a chápání významu slov v různých kontextových situacích.

Abstract

The thesis deals with the issue of the meaning of abstract words and their definitions in monolingual dictionaries. These words are commonly used in foreign language learning but, in fact, they do not reflect correctly and sufficiently the current state of the language and the understanding of meaning of the words in various contextual situations.
